Whit Merrifield celebrates after slugging out the game-winning RBI single off UCLA pitcher Dan Klein to propel South Carolina to a 2-1 win in 11 innings in Game 2 of the College World Series. Merrifield's deed earned the Gamecocks their first NCAA baseball championship.
